Twisted E Ranch is Phil & Amy Eavou who share a passion for Icelandic Horses. Amy has been involved in horses in one way or another her entire life, and riding Icelandic Horses since 1997. Phil is newer to horses, but has proven he is a natural from the start. We live in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula South of Sault Ste Marie, 20 miles South of the Canadian border. We breed Icelandics exclusively, standing our own Brynjar from Twisted E, a 2007 bay pinto stallion. We also retained a colt in 2010, Silfri from Twisted E, a silver dunskin, as a possible stallion prospect. We have an excellent selection of mares of quality breeding, but above all with great temperaments and natural gaits. Our whole family is involved with the horses, so all of our horses must be safe and sane for the kids to work around. We have horses of all ages in the herd for sale, and raise a few foals a year. We pride ourselves on making the best match for the horse and rider, and would rather lose a sale than make a bad match. The horses are part of our family and we want the best for them. We are easy to work with and are willing to work out payment plans. We have been lucky enough to have met wonderful, helpful people in our journeys and believe in paying it forward.
